Welcome to the home of the VFA Toros youth tackle football organization, a part of the Pop Warner Football and Cheer Conference.

                 What is Pop Warner Football?

Pop Warner is a competitive football program. Our teams play approximately half of their games on our home field and half of their games against other Pop Warner teams in Northeast Florida. Teams compete against one another; records are kept, and the top teams have the opportunity to advance to the playoffs. All teams must abide by the Mandatory Play Requirements (MPR). Those requirements may be reviewed at the Pop Warner website.

2026 Villages Tackle Football (Pop Warner)

Season Overview

Season Begins: Mid-July
Season Runs Through: November (Playoffs may extend into early December)
Practices: 3 nights per week
Practice Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Mill Creek Park Field
Game Days: Saturdays beginning in August
Attendance at practices is required for the safety and development of all athletes. This program requires dedication, accountability, and commitment from both players and families.

Registration Fee: $380

Registration & Waitlist Policy
Returning players will have priority registration during the designated early window.
Registration will then open to new families.
Once an age division reaches capacity, additional athletes will be placed on a waitlist.
Families will be notified by email if a roster spot becomes available.

Toro Day: April 11th, Mill Creek Field 9-12
Meet & Greet / Parent Meeting: Spring (Date TBD)
Optional Conditioning: June- July
Season Start Date: Mid-July
Games Begin: August (Tentative)
Conference Competition: October–November
National Championship (if qualified): Early December
Fundraising & Refund Policy
Throughout the season, we host a few fundraisers to help provide top-tier equipment, homecoming items, and team experiences for our athletes.
Refund Policy:
Refunds are available prior to a designated cutoff date of May 5th. After that date, refunds cannot be granted due to uniform orders, equipment allocation, and league fees already incurred.

We are committed to building young athletes who demonstrate discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience both on and off the field.
We look forward to an incredible season of growth, competition, and Toros pride.

📣 2026 VILLAGES TOROS CHEER 📣

Registration Information

The energy is building and the 2026 season is almost here! Join the Villages Toros Cheer Family for a season focused on spirit, skill-building, teamwork, and community.

✅ REGISTRATION OPENS: MARCH 2ND
Registration Fee: $380
Your registration includes:
✔ Full cheer uniform (athletes keep it at the end of the season)
✔ Practice shirts
✔ Bows for all registered cheerleaders
✔ County field fees and insurance coverage

📣 PROGRAM OPTIONS

⭐ Sideline Only

Cheer at all home and away Toros football games.

⭐ Sideline + Competition

Sideline experience PLUS competitive events beginning in October, culminating in:
🏆 Regional Competition – Orlando, FL
Thanksgiving Weekend (including check-in on Thanksgiving Thursday)
Please Note:
Athletes participating in the Sideline + Competition program will have additional competition-related fees throughout the season. We understand this added commitment and will host team-led fundraising events to help offset out-of-pocket expenses as much as possible.

📍 PRACTICE INFORMATION
📌 Location: Mill Creek Field
🗓 Schedule: 2 nights per week
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Beginning in October, athletes in the Sideline + Competition program will increase to 3 practice nights per week to prepare for competition season.

👟 REQUIRED GEAR (Provided by Families)
• Black compression shorts
• White cheer shoes
More detailed information on recommended styles will be shared at our Meet & Greet.

🙌 VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT
Village Toros Cheer is a volunteer-supported organization.
Each family is required to volunteer throughout the season.
If you prefer to opt out of volunteering, a $150 volunteer fee may be paid in place of service hours.

April 11th – Meet & Greet Toros Day
July 15th – Official start of the 2026 season
October – Competitive events begin
Thanksgiving Weekend – Regional Competition in Orlando
