Descriptions of Open Board Positions

PRESIDENT

A. Conduct the affairs of the ASSOCIATION, and execute the policies established by the Board of Directors.
B. Present a report of the condition of the ASSOCIATION, at the annual meeting.
C. Communicate to the Board of Directors such matters that are appropriate and make suggestions to promote the welfare of the ASSOCIATION.
D. Be responsible for the conduct of the ASSOCIATION, and ensure conformity to the policies, principles, rules and regulations of the PARENT association.
E. Designate in writing to other officers if necessary the power to make and execute for and in the name of the ASSOCIATION, such contracts and leases as may be received prior approval from the Board of Directors.
F. Investigate complaints, irregularities, and conditions detrimental to the ASSOCIATION, and report thereon to the Board as circumstances warrant.
G. Prepare and submit an annual budget to the Board of Directors and be responsible for the proper execution thereof.
H. With the assistance of the Football/Cheer Director, ensure all teams and cheer squads have all required information on their respective members as required by the PARENT association.
I. President shall have grant of authority of up to $500 between Board meetings. J. Will be responsible for News Releases and all other publications pertaining to the ASSOCIATION.
K. Ensure we have representation at the monthly conference meeting. If they cannot attend personally, the VP, Football Director, or Cheer Director may attend in their place.

CHEER DIRECTOR

A. With the assistance of the Assistant Cheer Director, verify that each cheer squads’ cheerleaders have a completed application and a birth certificate, physical form, and other information required by the PARENT association in a team book.
B. Shall attend or have a representative attend all mandatory Conference Meetings during the year.
C. Shall supply the Cheerleading Head Coaches with all pertinent communications from the Board of Directors.
D. Shall work with Assistant Cheer Director, Fundraising Coordinator, and Concession Coordinator to ensure a smooth line of communication.
E. Responsible for ordering cheer equipment and supplies.
F. Responsible for providing the board with a generalized budget for the year.
G. Responsible for yearly competition plan.
H. Responsible for arranging hotel accommodations for the compeon.
I. May need to attend the monthly conference meeting in lieu of the President.
J. Responsible for reconciling all purchases made to the Cheer account with the applicable invoices for Treasurer review.

ASSISTANT CHEER DIRECTOR

A. Will be responsible for choosing a Team Parent from each Division of Cheerleaders.
B. Will be responsible for communications to said Team Parent and will work hand-in hand with concession coordinator to form a schedule for working the Home Games.
C. Will be responsible for working with each team parent to ensure that each cheerleader has a completed an online application and that a birth certificate, physical form, current photo and other information as required by the PARENT association are in the team book before they can become a member of the ASSOCIATION.
D. Will be responsible for relaying all necessary information to Team Parents regarding all scheduled Fundraising activities.
E. Will be responsible for relaying all necessary information to Team Parents concerning all other ASSOCIATION activities.
F. Will work hand-in-hand with coaching staffs to ensure total network of communications.
G. Will be responsible for formulating registration forms and make such forms available to eligible player.
H. Will be responsible for communications to said Marketing Director to provide necessary information regarding each Division of Cheerleaders.

ASSISTANT FOOTBALL DIRECTOR

A. Will be responsible for running the Flag Football Winter League and all responsibilities within 
B. Will support the Football Director in the scheduling of Scrimmages and communications with Head Coaches
C. Will support the Football Director to ensure coaches adhere to the PARENT association Coaches Code of Conduct
D. Incase of absence or disability of the Football Director, and provided he or she is authorized by the President of the Board to so act, the Asst. Football Director shall perform the duties of the Football Director, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of that office and shall have such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by teh Board of Directors or Football Director

FUNDRAISING DIRECTOR

A. Shall be responsible for formulating a series of Board approved fundraisers to be scheduled throughout the year. The amount needed to be determined by the football and cheer budget approved during the first quarter of each calendar year.
B. Shall chair a Fundraising Committee of an adequate number of members to bring about a successful Fundraising campaign.
C. Shall be responsible for maintaining sponsorship relationships.

FOOTBALL TEAM PARENT

A. Will be responsible for choosing a Team Parent from each Division of Players.
B. Will be responsible for communications to said Team Parent and will work hand-in hand with concession coordinator to form a schedule for working the Home Games.
C. Will be responsible for working with each team parent to ensure that each player has a completed an online application and that a birth certificate, physical form, current photo and other information as required by the PARENT association in the team book before they can become a member of the ASSOCIATION.
D. Will be responsible for relaying all necessary information to Team Parents regarding all scheduled Fundraising activities.
E. Will be responsible for relaying all necessary information to Team Parents concerning all other ASSOCIATION activities.
F. Will work hand-in-hand with coaching staffs to ensure total network of communications.
G. Will be responsible for formulating registration forms and make such forms available to eligible players/cheerleaders.
H. Shall be responsible for obtaining permission from school districts within the League’s boundaries so registration forms may be delivered to those schools.
I. Shall be responsible for actual delivery of registration forms to the schools.
J. Will be responsible for newspaper campaign and other related forms of advertisements to register players and cheerleaders.
K. Will work hand-in hand with Team Parent to schedule gate volunteers.

FIRST-AID DIRECTOR

A. Will be responsible for organizing and scheduling of participant physicals.
B. Will be responsible for procurement of all First-Aid supplies for all teams as is required by the League.
C. Will be responsible for scheduling CPR training for volunteers as needed.
D. Must ensure that at least one coach or team parent for each team has a Red Cross or equivalent First Aid Card.

EQUIPMENT DIRECTOR

A. Be responsible for storage and upkeep of all the ASSOCIATION equipment.
B. Be responsible for maintaining the storage area for equipment.
C. Be responsible for all other related equipment as designated by the ASSOCIATION.
D. Be responsible for equal disbursement of equipment to all Divisions.
E. Be responsible for an accurate Year End Inventory of all equipment Be responsible for purchasing equipment, with approval of the Board of Directors for the Upcoming Season.
F. Make sure that all helmets needing certification be brought to a registered specialist so they may be ready for the tackle football season.
G. Be responsible for formulating and presenting to the board, with the help of Be responsible for securing quotes for all large equipment purchases.
H. Be responsible for reconciling all purchases made to the Football Equipment account with the applicable invoices for Treasurer review.

SECRETARY

A. Be responsible for recording the activities of the ASSOCIATION, and maintain appropriate files, mailing lists, and necessary records.
B.Perform such duties as are herein specifically set forth in addition to such other duties as are customarily incident to the office of Secretary or as may be assigned by the Board of Directors.
C. Will be responsible to create the annual meeting calendar for the board meetings and give notice of all meetings of the ASSOCIATION, to the Board of Directors and all Committees.
D. Keep track of the members meeting and home game setup/tear down attendance.
E. Provide the agenda and keep the minutes of the meeting of the Members, the Board of Directors, and cause them to be posted.
F. Shall conduct all correspondence not otherwise specifically delegated in connection with said meetings and shall be responsible for carrying out all orders, vote, and resolutions not otherwise committed.
G. Notify Members, Directors, and Committee Members of their Election or Appointment.
H. Will keep all bylaw changes and will report such changes at Annual Meeting at year's end.
I. Keep track of Board Members meeting attendance and will reach out to President and VicePresident if they are not meeting expectations.

MARKETING DIRECTOR

A. Responsible for the image of the ASSOCIATION.
B. Responsible for designing and posting all marketing materials. IE. signs, posters, flyers, sponsor banners, etc
C. Working with the Fundraising Director for marketing needs related to fundraising.
D. Responsible for posting to the ASSOCIATION website.
E. Responsible for posting to the ASSOCIATION book of faces page.
F. Responsible for advertising the ASSOCIATION activities.
G. Responsible for creating and maintaining a relationship with the local schools to ensure the youth are aware of the ASSOCIATION and what we have to offer.
H. Working with the Merchandise Director to ensure our merchandising logos are kept modern.
I. Working with the Webmaster with the advertising place and logos of our sponsors on the ASSOCIATION website.

CONCESSION DIRECTOR

A. Shall be responsible for ordering all foods at a reasonable price and maintaining an accurate inventory of such goods.
B. Shall be responsible for concession operations for all home games.
C. Will work hand-in-hand with assigned volunteers to ensure a smooth line of communication to Parents concerning the working of Saturday games.
D. Will be responsible for an accurate record of all expenditures and income from concession.

MERCHANDISE DIRECTOR

A. Will be responsible for the organizing, purchasing and selling of the ASSOCIATION merchandise.
B. Will be responsible for an accurate record of all merchandise purchases and sales.

FIELD DIRECTOR

A. Will be responsible for the preparation and se􀆫ng up of the field for ALL Home Games.
B. Will be responsible for the procurement and maintenance of the field including field maintenance equipment.

MEMBER-AT-LARGE 

A. Will be responsible to carry out dues assigned by the Board.
